I have been working in media production since almost 20 years, the last ten I spent with the German public service network ARD in their studios in Beijing, Singapore, Tokyo, New Delhi and currently in London. Mainly as a video editor but also as a supervisor, drone and camera operator and troubleshooter.
At times i worked in crisis areas like Afghanistan, the Rohingya camps in Bangladesh or the Philippines after typhoon Haiyan. Less dangerous but equally exciting were projects in rural parts of central China, the Maldives or at g7 summits and Cop26.
my productions range from breaking news to short and long form documentaries and
social media content for various channels.
Before that, I was a freelance video editor and camera operator in Berlin, mostly for industry clients in advertising and promotional films.
